May 20 – Wesak (Eng & Fr) Wesak – the full moon of the Buddha’s awakening, is when we traditionally hold the Annual General Meeting of the Moulin de Chaves Association. The meeting will be held from 15h00, and then there will be the traditional Wesak celebration, which means meditation through the night, punctuated with the occasional cup of chai. All-night meditation may seem daunting, but with the support of sangha and the energy of the full moon, it can be a powerful way to feel empowered in one’s practice.
