25-29th June 2008 Embracing the Sacred Feminine A retreat for women with Leela Sarti, Kali, Gail Aylward and friends (Eng + Fr?) This is an opportunity to relax into the natural wisdom inherent in the sacred feminine. Let us explore what the authentic embodiment of womens spirituality can be like in the tradition of Insight meditation. Grounded in the format of a silent vipassana retreat, this healing retreat will also include inquiry inspired by the Diamond Approach, sisterhood sharing, the celebration of the feminine form through sacred movements, yoga and dance, and a ceremony inviting unique and personal expressions of love, compassion, beauty and creativity. Women of all ages welcome. LEELA SARTI has engaged in spiritual inquiry and Dharma practice for many years. In addition to the teachings of the Buddha, a great source of inspiration has been the non-dual teachings of Advaita Vedanta and various traditions within contemporary western psychology. Leela has lead many groups of women in psycho-spiritual exploration and given lectures on feminine archetypes and goddess images from around the globe. In addition to teaching Insight Meditation retreats, Leela is a trainee counselling psychologist, a psychotherapist and a student of the Diamond Approach of A.H. Almaas. She lives with her family in Luxembourg and Sweden.
