SOR 2 Mon 7 - Sat 12 July Insight Dialogue: Freedom Beyond the Social Mask. Led by: Gregory Kramer (Eng) Insight Dialogue practice supports us to bring the mindfulness and tranquillity of traditional silent meditation practice into our interactions with others. This mindfulness in interaction enables insight into micro-moments of experience. We apprehend the thoughts and emotions that affect how we act and who we think we are. We perceive and understand things that are normally overlooked in the busy-ness of life. Deeper insight and ease then flow into our everyday lives.  Gregory Kramer teaches meditation, writes, and directs the Metta Foundation in Orcas, Washington. Gregory has practiced meditation since 1974, and studied with esteemed monks, including Ven. Ananda Maitreya Maha Nayaka Thera, Achan Sobin Namto, and others. Gregory has been teaching meditation worldwide since 1980. At Metta Foundation, he has pioneered online meditation and contemplation practices. His primary focus since 1995 has been developing and sharing Insight Dialogue, an interpersonal form of Buddhist insight meditation, and groups are now active worldwide. He also developed Dharma Contemplation, a text-based contemplation practice.
