June 9-14. Returning to our Roots. Led by: Thay Doji (Fr) Like trees, we have roots, and as it is for trees, so to for us it is the pth of those roots which allow us to move in the winds of life without being carried away. This week will explore our roots, those of our mother and father, our families, our teachers, our culture, our spiritual traditions and our sense of place. Looking at the life we live through various explorations, excercises and meditations. Deepening in what it means to ‘touch the earth.’  Frère Doji, returned to Europe in 1993 after 10 years of monastic life in Japan, joining the monastery of ‘Plum Village in South West France, practice centre of Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh. Frère Doji teaches numerous meditation courses, and through his clarity and presence, guides students towards discovering Buddhism as an art of living, transforming suffering and freeing our lives.
