Meditation Retreat with Daniel Brown Ph,D.
(English)
The ‘Pointing Out’ Way of Tibetan Buddhist Meditation
This retreat–designed for either novice or advanced meditators–serves an integrative approach to the practice
of meditation, with an emphasis on intensive
concentration meditation.
Essence meditations are designed to develop ‘awakened wisdom’ through continuous, uninterrupted mindfulness. These essence meditations are taught within the context of on ongoing relationship wherein the mind’s real nature is directly pointed out by the teacher during the right state of meditation. Instructions point out the desired state, the way to attain it, and how to correct the problems that typically occur at each stage of meditation practice. Practice is followed carefully, and instructions are individualized for each student.
