Summer Open Retreat (SOR)
Our Summer Open Retreat integrates Dharma practice and ordinary life. Sustaining the attention of meditation throughout the activities of the day, the division between our spiritual and worldly lives dissolves.
Le Moulin emphasizes living, communicating, and practicing with others in a community environment. Practicing both in silence and solitude, interaction and intimacy offers the opportunity to awaken in the very midst of our lives, to discover the Freedom that is the true nature of our own heart and of all things.
The daily schedule includes 4 meditation periods, Dharma teachings and discussion, periods for exercise and Yoga, and a work period. Mornings are silent. Visitors are expected to participate fully in the daily schedule. View the Daily Schedule.
Arrival and departure days are mondays and saturdays and the minimum stay is 5 days.
