DANA is a Pali word, meaning the practice of generosity, or offering. DANA is a completely different way of relating to what is offered. Rather than a commercial transaction, DANA expresses the love and appreciation for what has been received. All Dharma activities connected with Dharma Network and Le Moulin centre run on the basis of DANA. Any daily rate covers only basic bills; Food, heating, utility bills and basic administrative and organizational costs. Nobody who lives, works or teaches receives any kind of payment whatsoever for the time, energy and love that they offer to support your Dharma practice. Therefore there are DANA boxes to give financial support to teachers, organizers and the Association itself. In this way, you support those who support the Dharma.
