This page is primarily a resource to allow you to make a booking if you have had technical difficulties using the normal online booking procedure. In some other cases it may also be necessary to make a payment directly through this page.

How to book

The best and easiest way to book is directly through the website. Like most online purchasing this is simply done by completing our online form and your payment and registration are taken instantly. To do this go to the ‘more information and booking’ page of the event you are wishing to attend and click where it says ‘register’. Wait for a few seconds for the page to load, then fill in the details and the final stage will transfer you to PayPal to make the deposit payment.

If you experience any difficulties then you can use this more manual booking method below. Also please email us and tell us what is going wrong so we can fix it.

Booking forms

For all bookings please provide your full name and address, telephone number, email address, age, gender (for room allocation purposes) and any medical conditions we need to know about.

To fill and return by email: Booking form in Word format (.doc)
To print and return by mail: Booking form in PDF format (.pdf)

Please send your completed booking form by email or by post (at the address printed on the booking form)

After we have received your booking and payment we will email you to confirm your booking. If you do not receive an email please contact us (check your spam folder first).

We will make every effort to make your payment possible if you are having any difficulties using the normal methods

Retreat Fee

Please send your retreat fee to confirm your place.

How to Pay

Regardless of your booking method you may pay your deposit (€50 minimum, non-refundable) or the full cost of your booking by any of the following methods:

  • by Paypal click here (including credit cards without an account): or if you are having difficulties contact us by email
  • by credit card: in person or over the phone
  • by cheque: French cheque only – made payable to “Association Moulin de Chaves”
  • by bank transfer: contact us for more details
  • by cash: in person on arrival (not for deposits, for paying the remainder of the cost only)

If you intend to pay in cash for your retreat when you arrive then please ensure you bring enough cash with you as there are no ATM machines in the village.

After we have received your booking and payment we will email you to confirm your booking. If you do not receive an email please contact us (check your spam folder first).

Membership

The Moulin de Chaves operates as a French registered Non Profit Association (loi 1901). In order to maintain this status, all activities are offered as a service to association members. When you arrive you will be asked to pay an annual subscription of €10 which allows us to offer events at the Moulin for the lowest possible cost. Without membership, we would have to operate as a profit-oriented, tax paying organization.

During the winter months, Le Moulin is closed. During this time emails will be answered 2 or 3 times a week and not at weekends.
