2 to 8 September, 2019
Jenny and Eoin invite you to join them for a week-long retreat designed to help you to relax, release, receive and refocus in the gentle, beautiful (and usually sunny) surroundings of the Dordogne.
Between them Eoin and Jenny have nearly 30 years experience of guiding people to create positive and meaningful change in their lives. Working together as facilitators on this retreat their intention is to take you on a journey out of the busy mind, away from the stresses of everyday life and to guide you to drop deeply into the wisdom of your heart.
A combination of daily morning meditation plus group sessions each morning and late afternoon will allow you to relax and release anything which no longer serves you. After stilling the busy mind through a variety of practices and experiential work, you will be able to start to listen to your heart more deeply. Jenny and Eoin will be on hand to support your unfolding in a deeply nurturing and loving environment of unconditional acceptance.
The days will include some silent time as well as plenty of opportunity to interact with others should you choose to. As well as our group sessions, there will also be plenty of unstructured time when you can relax in the beautiful grounds of Le Moulin, bathe in the river, hire canoes or bikes from the neighbouring campsite, book a massage, or just enjoy walking in the surrounding forested hills. There will also be an optional excursion to the stunning Saturday morning market in nearby Perigueux which is one of the most colourful of the Dordogne’s world famous markets. (Please note the hiring of canoes/bikes, booking a massage or Perigueux market trip are not included in the cost of this retreat).
This retreat is suitable for anyone who has a genuine desire to live more whole-heartedly.
Jenny Grainger and Eoin Scolard met on a spiritual retreat on top of a hill in Italy in 2009 and have been in a deeply committed and conscious relationship since then. An interesting mixture of spiritual influences, beliefs and practices are integrated and interwoven into their everyday life in the Dordogne and they are both dedicated to living authentically and whole-heartedly.
Eoin is a published author (The Possibility Exists….), a Soul Coach and teacher of a body of work which he created called Holistic Intelligence (HQ for short). Having studied positive psychology, energy medicine and human potential for nearly 30 years, Eoin’s passion is to teach others how to optimise their energy and stay vibrant, passionate and fulfilled. Most of his work focuses on the Mind-Body-Spirit Connection, because he firmly believes that concepts are of no use unless they are grounded and integrated into the fabric of our lives. After leaving his role as Financial Director in the corporate world more than 15 years ago, Eoin studied and qualified in many energy and psycho-therapeutic modalities. He has been described as a “nurturing presence” and “full of wisdom”, and he is equally at home presenting to hundreds of people or facilitating a small intimate group. His work is a potent mix of positive psychology, presence, somatic and experiential work – and, of course, his famous Rule No. 6 – “Don’t take it too seriously!”
Jenny Grainger is passionate about empowering people to create lives that fulfil them, allow them to find balance and to listen to their inner guidance and wisdom. With 14 years of experience as a Life Coach and Law of Attraction Coach behind her as well as being the Director of Positive Living Network, Jenny is well known for her authenticity and for walking the walk and talking the talk. She has spent the last 15 years creating a balanced, joyful and fulfilling life which she lives to the full.

Moulin de Chaves is a non profit Association. Everyone who comes here on retreat contributes one hour of their time each day towards the running of the Moulin. This may be anything from washing up, veggie chopping, cleaning, or gardening. We thank you in advance for helping us in this way.
The Moulin de Chaves operates as a French registered Non Profit Association (loi 1901). In order to maintain this status, all activities are offered as a service to Association members. The annual subscription of €10 allows us to offer events at the Moulin for the lowest possible cost. Without membership, we would have to operate as a profit-oriented, tax-paying organization.
